Over two workshop sessions we will explore how shapes come together to create new forms - Heads, Bodies, People and Animals.

With guidance you will explore the creative possibilities of working in 3D.

After two sessions you will have made two figures. One a Human Form, the other an Animal Form.

Over two workshops we will crate a mask using wood offcuts, found objects and textiles.

You will explore your own choice of animal as a friend and ally, a supporter, guide or assistant.

Soapstone with Tony: Monday 21st July

11.00am - 12.30pm

Create a small soapstone carving.

This workshop is open to beginners.

Mosaic Ball Workshop, facilitated by David

The aim of the workshops was to celebrate the work of Art Matters artist Linda, who passed away last year, and finish her mosaic ball, a work she was unable to complete. Thank you, David, Paula, Liz, Claire, Francisca and Tony, for your contribution to the legacy of an artist loved by everyone who knew her.

Art Matters print artists had a wonderful day at East Surrey College on Monday 12th May, printmaking, stencil cutting and book making. Our thanks to everyone at the college, especially Monica who looked after us, shared her skills and created such a wonderful day.
