Lisa Bagshaw

Lisa is a Surrey based artist heavily influenced by themes of the macabre, representation, mysticism, and her Pagan lifestyle.

She began her art journey crafting at a young age and studied Art at GCSE but only really focused on specific disciplines when she joined Art Matters as a user in 2015. Starting with lino printing she has since created her our fabrics prints and had her piece “Nicola’s Sunflowers” featured in the Art Matters 20/20 Exhibition.

She moved on to Sculpting in various media including wax, polymer clay and found a real love for Stone carving. Her soapstone work explores stylised natural forms. She likes to create tactile pieces to be touch and held. She can spend 40+ hours on a handheld size piece to get the desired finish.
