Figures, with Ian
Monday 8th and 15th December
10.30am - 2.30pm
Over two workshop sessions we will explore how shapes come together to create new forms - Heads, Bodies, People and Animals.
With guidance you will explore the creative possibilities of working in 3D.
After two sessions you will have made two figures. One a Human Form, the other an Animal Form.
Booking is required.

An opportunity to explore a loose approach to abstract painting.
Open to all abilities.

Introduction to Abstraction with Laura:
Monday 27th October
10am - 12pm
Create your own abstract art work using different materials.

Stripes with Nigel: Monday 20th October
11am - 2.30pm
Learn about colour relationships and painting stripes using mixed media.

The Animal Mask, with Ian:
Monday 4th &11th August
10.30am - 2pm
Over two workshops we will crate a mask using wood offcuts, found objects and textiles.
You will explore your own choice of animal as a friend and ally, a supporter, guide or assistant.

Soapstone with Tony: Monday 21st July
11.00am - 12.30pm
Create a small soapstone carving.
This workshop is open to beginners.

Mosaic Ball Workshop, facilitated by David
The aim of the workshops was to celebrate the work of Art Matters artist Linda, who passed away last year, and finish her mosaic ball, a work she was unable to complete. Thank you, David, Paula, Liz, Claire, Francisca and Tony, for your contribution to the legacy of an artist loved by everyone who knew her.
